Tropical Craft Cocktails

Effective date: 8/24/26 Last updated: 8/24/26

Tropical Craft Cocktails (“Tropical,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website tropiccc.com, including our promotional page win.tropiccc.com/giveaway (together, the “Site”), and sells ready-to-drink Caribbean cocktails and related products. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

This Site is intended only for people of legal drinking age in their location. We do not knowingly sell to, or collect information from, anyone under 21.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Order and purchase information — name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, order contents, and delivery instructions when you place an order through our shop.
  • Payment information — card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors, Stripe and PayPal. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers. We receive limited transaction data such as the last four digits of the card, card type, billing ZIP code, and whether the payment succeeded.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your username, email address, password (stored in encrypted form), saved addresses, order history, wishlist, and product comparison lists.
  • Age verification — the date of birth or age confirmation you enter at our age gate. We use this only to confirm eligibility and, where applicable, to remember your confirmation so you are not asked repeatedly.
  • Marketing sign-ups — the email address (and any name or preferences you provide) when you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Promotional entries — the name, email address, and date of birth you provide when entering a giveaway or sweepstakes, including through win.tropiccc.com/giveaway. We use this information to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, and contact winners.
  • Messages and enquiries — the name, email address, and message content you submit through our contact forms or send to us by email or social media.
  • Recipe and community content — if you submit, save, rate, or upload content to our recipe features, we collect that content along with any images and the account it is associated with.
  • Other information you choose to share — such as survey responses, event sign-ups, reviews, or promotional entries.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Browser type, device type, operating system, and screen settings
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, products viewed, referring URLs, and time spent
  • Cart and session identifiers used to keep your cart and login working
  • Cookie and similar identifiers (see Section 5)

We do not collect precise geolocation from your device, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health data, or biometric data.

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from our payment processors (transaction and fraud-screening results), shipping and fulfillment partners (delivery status and address corrections), our email platform (whether a message was opened or a link clicked), advertising and analytics providers, and social media platforms when you interact with our pages or accounts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process, fulfill, ship, and confirm your orders, including returns and refunds
  • Verify that you are of legal drinking age and that an adult is available to receive an alcohol delivery where required
  • Create and maintain your account, wishlist, and saved preferences
  • Administer giveaways, sweepstakes, and promotions, including verifying eligibility and contacting winners
  • Respond to your questions, requests, and customer service issues
  • Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notices
  • Send marketing emails about new flavors, recipes, events, and offers, where you have signed up or where otherwise permitted by law
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site and our products
  • Measure the performance of our content, campaigns, and advertising
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and other unlawful activity
  • Comply with legal obligations, including alcohol-beverage, tax, and record-keeping requirements, and enforce our terms

We do not use your information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below.

  • Payment processors — Stripe and PayPal, to authorize and process payments and screen for fraud. See the Stripe Privacy Policy and the PayPal Privacy Statement.
  • Shipping, fulfillment, and licensed retail partners — because alcohol is a regulated product, orders may be fulfilled and shipped by licensed retailers, wholesalers, or fulfillment partners in your state. We share the information they need to prepare, ship, and lawfully deliver your order, including age-verification at delivery.
  • Website and technology providers — our hosting provider, WordPress and WooCommerce plugin providers, security and backup services, and IT support, who process data on our behalf.
  • Email and marketing platforms — Mailchimp, which manages our newsletter and campaign delivery. See the Intuit Mailchimp Privacy Statement.
  • Analytics and advertising providers — Google Analytics and Google’s tag services, which help us understand how the Site is used. See How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Embedded media providers — where we embed video (for example Vimeo) or social content (for example Instagram), those providers may set cookies and receive data about your visit under their own policies.
  • Promotion partners — where a giveaway or sweepstakes is co-sponsored (for example, a prize provider), we share only the information necessary to verify eligibility and deliver the prize to the winner.
  • Professional advisors — accountants, auditors, insurers, and lawyers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Legal and safety — regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Some of the analytics and advertising activity described above may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or “targeted advertising” under certain state privacy laws. See Section 7 for how to opt out.

4. Where Your Information Is Held

We are based in New York, United States, and we operate across the United States and the Caribbean. Personal information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws of the country you live in. When we transfer information across borders, we take reasonable steps to require appropriate protection for it.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your cart, account session, and age-gate confirmation, understand how the Site is used, and measure our marketing. Broadly, we use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the shop, cart, checkout, login, and security to function.
  • Preference cookies — remember settings such as your age confirmation, accessibility choices, and dismissed notices.
  • Analytics cookies — help us count visits and see which pages and products perform well.
  • Marketing cookies — used to measure and, where enabled, tailor advertising.

You can manage non-essential cookies through the consent banner and preference tool on the Site, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the shop. You can opt out of Google Analytics across websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Our Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no common standard for them. We do treat the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising where required by law.

6. Marketing Communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will send you emails about new releases, recipes, events, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us at the address in Section 12. We will still send you transactional messages about orders you have placed.

If you provide a mobile number for SMS updates, we will tell you at the point of sign-up what to expect and how to stop; message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out by replying STOP.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Everyone

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us to ask about the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, ask us to delete information, or unsubscribe from marketing. We will honor these requests as required by applicable law, and we aim to honor reasonable requests even where the law does not require it.

Residents of US states with consumer privacy laws

If you live in a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and a growing number of others — you may have the right to:

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction, meeting alcohol-beverage or tax record-keeping obligations, security, and fraud prevention
  • Obtain a portable copy of information you provided to us
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, including through the Global Privacy Control signal
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable — although we do not collect sensitive personal information for the purposes covered by this right
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We will not deny you products, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.

How to exercise a right. Email us at the address in Section 12 with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will verify your request by matching the information you give us against our records, and may ask for additional information — such as the email address used for an order — before acting. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally 45 days, and may extend that period where permitted.

Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Appeals. If we decline your request and your state provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond to the appeal within the period your state’s law allows and, if we deny it, tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

California “Shine the Light”

California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not currently make such disclosures.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. In practice this means:

  • Order records — retained for as long as required by tax, accounting, and alcohol-beverage regulations, typically at least seven years
  • Account information — retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward
  • Marketing contacts — retained until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterward to honor your opt-out
  • Contact form messages — retained for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry and keep a record of it
  • Analytics data — retained according to the retention settings of our analytics provider

When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or de-identify it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of the Site in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and use of PCI-compliant payment processors so that card data does not touch our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have an account, please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

10. Children and Age Restrictions

Our products are alcohol beverages. The Site is not directed to anyone under the legal drinking age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21 or, where relevant, from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under the applicable age, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us using Section 12.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site links to other websites and social media platforms that we do not control, including our Instagram page and retailer or delivery partner sites. This policy does not apply to those services. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, if the changes are significant, provide a more prominent notice on the Site or by email. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
